Bhutan Online Tour Payment.

Only some tour company in Bhutan can accepts Bhutan Online Tour Payment as an options and service to their clients.

The transfer of tour payment to Bhutan is mostly done through wire transfer. Now Authentic Bhutan Tours can facilitate both card online tour payment and wire transfer at the convenient of our client’s choice of transferring their payment to Bhutan. However, if you wish to make the payment through card online payment, please follow the following steps.

• We accept only visa and master card.
• Online card payment will charge you 3.5% on the total payment, (2% will charge by the Card Company, 1% by your bank, 0.5% by the bank in Bhutan).

Terms and Conditions.

All the payments made through credit/debit card have to pay 3.5% as fee (2% will be taken by the card company, 1% by your bank and 0.5% by our bank in Bhutan).

1. Tour Cancellation Policy

The tours booked and subsequently cancelled will be subject to cancellation charges as follows:

    • Within 30 days or more before the arrival date in Bhutan – No charges
    • Within 21 days before the arrival date in Bhutan – 10% of the rate.
    • Within 14 days before the arrival date in Bhutan – 15% of the rate.
    • Within 07 days before the arrival date in Bhutan – 30 % of the rate.
    • Within 04 days before the arrival date in Bhutan – 50 % of the rate.
    • Less than 03 days or without notice – 100% of the rate.
    • After arrival in Bhutan – 100%.

An administration fee of USD 50/- will be applicable for all cancelled tours, once we issue the VISA.

2. Delayed Arrival or Departure

There is no charge for delays in arrival and departure because of weather conditions disrupting flights or roadblocks. The tourist must however bear the cost of food, accommodation, transportation, and other services required.

3. Airline Cancellation Policy

Airline tickets will be subject to cancellation charges as follows:

  • 90 % refund permitted for the tickets cancelled more than 30days from the date of travel.
  • 75 % refund permitted for the tickets canceled between 29 – last 14 days from the date of travel.
  • 50% refund made less than 10days from the date of travel, no refund.
  • 09days or less, no refund permitted.
  • Rescheduled ticket not permitted for refund.
  • No cancellation charges will apply on infant fares.

An administration fee of USD 25/- per ticket will be applicable for all cancelled tickets, once we issue the tickets.

Reassurance of Your Tour Payment.

There are also instances of clients feeling apprehensive about transferring the tour payments in advance. In fact, your bookings are confirmed or visa is issued only upon received of all your tour payments. Without the tour payments, your visa will be not issued at any cost.

However, all the tour payments wire transferred will directly deposit to Tourism Council of Bhutan’s Account in favor the company. Not to the company’s account directly.

The company will receive the payment in our local currency only upon the completion of your tour and provisions of the invoices after deducting the government Sustainable Development Fee and taxes at the sources. Hence it is very safe to wire transfer the payment to Bhutan, provided if it is to the company account and not to the personal account. Never send the payment to personal account.
Your tour payments are very safe and guarantee all the agreed services to you. If there are any problems after remitting the tour payment, you can always write to Tourism Council of Bhutan for solutions at info@tourism.gov.bt or visit at www.tourism.gov.bt. All the tour operators are governed by the regulation of Tourism Council of Bhutan. Tourism Council of Bhutan will deal legally with the defaulters.
