Amazing 12-day custom solo trip
I booked a 12-day custom tour with Authentic Bhutan Tours and it was excellent! My guide (Jigme) and driver (Karma) were thoughtful and professional, and they were friendly and as a solo traveler, I really appreciated that they were easy to chat with and learn from. We had to be a bit flexible with the itinerary because of weather, but I ultimately accomplished everything I was hoping - unique cultural experiences, Buddhist blessings and festivals, hiking, and engaging with local communities. Wonderful memories
We just came back from a 7 days 6 nights trip in Bhutan, and we truly had the most amazing experience thanks to the travel agency team. Our guide Sangay and driver Nima were absolutely wonderful. They were experienced, professional, flexible, fun, and always able to understand what we needed even before we explained it clearly. Sangay also taught us local language and culture, which made the journey feel much more special and personal. Everything before the trip was also arranged so smoothly — visa application, reservations, transportation, and itinerary planning were all perfectly organized. The itinerary was customized based on our interests in culture, history, and nature, and we were able to visit so many beautiful places in Bhutan. Bhutan itself is such a beautiful and peaceful country. We loved the scenery, the culture, and how welcomed we felt throughout the entire trip. We had such a wonderful time in Bhutan during our 7D6N trip with Authentic Bhutan Tours. Huge thanks to our guide Sangay and driver Nima for making the journey so enjoyable and comfortable. They were professional, knowledgeable, flexible, and also so much fun to travel with. They could always sense what our group needed, even without us saying much. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible they were with the itinerary. Sometimes our group wanted to change plans slightly, and they always adjusted things smoothly for us. They also shared Bhutanese culture and taught us local words and expressions, which made the experience feel much more authentic and memorable. Amazing experience
Had a ten days private tour, really enjoyed the whole experience starting with customizing it with Ten before the trip. My guide and drivers were very experienced and professional and just lovely people. We have also travelled to Bhumtang which is less popular among tourists and it was amazing, very authentic and secluded. Any problems we had were very fast sorted out, they were very flexible with changing the program on my request when I read about specific place and asked to attend. Life changed
This trip was breathtakingly beautiful! Bhutan is beautiful but my guide Thsering made it special. She showed me everything and explained it in detail. The country is beautifully intertwined with Buddhism and I, as a solo traveling woman, have not felt unsafe for a second. Thsering is fun, friendly, professional and together with driver Karma we formed a close team. I feel eternally grateful to have been able to discover/meet Bhutan with them. Best Experience in Bhutan
we thoroughly enjoyed our 12 day tour of the Kingdom of Bhutan and the service provided by Authentic Bhutan Tours exceeded all expectations. 1) The company offered customizable itinerary based on our interests in history, culture and outdoors. The hotels selected were all impeccably clean and provided first rate services. Delicious plant-based meals were provided to us at all places (we are vegetarians). 2) Our guide "Jimmy" and chauffer Nima were remarkable. They handled the guiding and all the logistics travelling through rugged terrain with professional ease, meanwhile never failing to lighten up the room with their big smiles. We were deeply touched when they managed to throw a surprise birthday party for my husband on the road. Amazing experience
I have travelled solo for the first time so after lot of research I went with Authentic Bhutan Tours. A choice well made. Mr. Ten was so patient with me right from the quote to answering all my questions. Once landed, my guide (Tshering) and driver (Liki) greeted me with a warm welcome and we started the tour on a very high note with an amazing lunch. Bhutan is an amazing and must visit place at least once in life time. All the natural beauty and friendly people make anyone feel safe. We did visit quite a few places and lot of walking/hiking. Loved every minute. Had so many laughs with Tshering and made lot of memories to take with me back home.
