Day 01. Arrival Gauwahati Internal Airport, India.
At Gauwahati International Airport, representative from Authentic Bhutan Tours – For Your Bhutan Experience! will meet you and will escort to Bhutan. Lunch will be served at one of the Indian Restaurant and we will continue our journey to Bhutan by Indian Car. Dinner and over night stay at Samdrup Jongkhar (Bhutan) hotel.

Day 02. Samdrup Jongkhar – Trashigang
After our early breakfast, we will drive to Trashigang. The drive will take about 7hrs 30minutes through the tropical and subtropical forest. You will also see the villages of eastern Bhutan are located at the hilltops and scattered. Lunch will be served as hot pack lunch. Then we will continue our journey to Trashigang. If we have time, we will visit Khaling Handloom Center and Kanglung Zangtopleri Lhakhang. Or we will visit on our way back from Trashigang. Dinner and over night stay at Trashigang Hotel.

Day 03: Trashigang Stay. (Day Excursion to Radhi & Phongmey Village)
We will visit Trashigang Dzong and drive to Radhi & Phongmey village. Radhi is known for the rice bowl of eastern Bhutan and is also famous for raw silk textile (bura) in Bhutan. On reaching Ranjung, we will visit Ranjung Yozerchholing Monastery and at Khardung, we will visit Khardung Anim Dratshang, where young girls and women perusing the religious life. We will have picturesque sceneries of eastern Bhutan. Evening at leisure. Dinner and over night stay at Trashigang Hotel.

Day 04. Trashigang – Mongar via Trashiyangtshi
Before we drive to Mongar, we will visit Trashi Yangtshi district and visit Gomphu Kora, Chhorten Kora and Trashi Yangtshi town. Then we will drive to Mongar. Lunch will be hot pack lunch. On reaching Ngatshang, we will visit small temple, Tashichoepheling Lhakhang. Here we will spend about 1hour experiencing the life of monks and interacting with them. This will be a good opportunity to experience and learn about the monk’s life in Bhutan. Then we will continue our journey to Mongar over Korela pass. Evening stroll around the small town of Mongar. Dinner and over night stay at Mongar Hotel.

Day 05. Mongar – Bumthang
We will drive to Bumthang. Bumthang valley is home to some of the holiest pilgrimages and scared monasteries in the country. The drive will take about 6hrs. We will enjoy with the sceneries, steep water falls and the changing of vegetations as we drive to Bumthang. Lunch will be served as hot pack lunch. On reaching Tang, we will visit Mebar Tsho (burning lake) and then stroll around a typically Bhutanese town in Bumthang. Dinner and over night stay at Bumthang Hotel.

Day 06. Bumthang Stay
Full day sightseeing in Bumthang includes – Jakar Dzong, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, Lunch will be served at Bumthang Hotel. After lunch, we will visit Honey Production Center and then we will visit Farm House for dinner, locally-brewed ARRA (rice whine) and dhotsho (hot stone bath). We can also arrange over night stay in farm house, if our guests would like to do so.

Day 07. Bumthang – Phobjikha
Today we will drive to Phobjikha over Trongsa. Phobjikha valley is a glacial valley and is the winter home of the black necked cranes. On reaching Trongsa, we will visit Tower of Trongsa, is a museum in which aspects of Bhutanese culture and history are illustrated by means of art objects, and for others a scared place of encounter with their gods – or perhaps both at the same time for all visitors. Lunch we will have at ‘Tower of Trongsa’s café’.
Then we will continue our journey to Phobjikha. At the view point of Trongsa dzong, we will stop by for photography. On reaching Gangtey, we will visit Gangtey Goenpa. Then we will hike the Gangtey Natural Trail. The hike will take about 1hr 30minutes through the pine forest and we will see the Phobjikha valley so beautifully. Dinner and over night stay at Phobjikha Hotel.

Day 08. Phobjikha – Punakha
Drive to Punakha. On reaching Lobesa, we will make a short hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility. The temple is located a hilltop and we have to hike about 30minutes from the road end through farm fileds. Lunch will be served at Chhimi Lhakhang Cafteria. Then we will continue our journey to Punakha. At Punakha, we will visit the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan, Punakha Dzong. Then we will drive to Kabesa village till the view point of Khamsum Yule Namgyel Chhorten. Evening at leisure. Dinner and over night stay at Punakha Hotel.

Day 09. Punakha – Thimphu
We will drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan over dochula pass (3150m). The dochula pass is adorned with 108 small stupas and many kinds’ prayer flags. On clear days we can see eastern Himalayan Mountain Ranges so beautifully. Lunch will be served at Thimphu. After lunch, we will drive BBS tower and on the way, we will visit Mothithang mini zoo, to see the national animal of Bhutan, Takin.
Then we will make Wangditse hike, which starts from BBS tower and then ends at Dechenphodrang. The hike will take about 1hr 30minutes, through pine forest. On the way we will visit Wangditshe Lhakhang and from this hike, we can see the whole Thimphu valley and town so beautifully. Evening we will stroll around Thimphu town, the capital town of Bhutan, visiting handicraft emporiums to buy authentic souvenirs from Bhutan for your loved ones. To this day, Thimphu remains the world’s only capital without traffic lights. Dinner and over night stay at Thimphu Hotel.

Day 10. Thimphu Stay
Full day sightseeing in Thimphu, Memorial Chhorten, Weaving center, Changangkha Lhakhang, Nunnery (Zilukha Anim Dratshang), Folk Heritage Museum. Lunch in Thimphu. After lunch Bhutanese paper factory and free time. Dinner and over night stay at Thimphu Hotel.

Day 11. Thimphu – Haa
Today we will drive to Haa- A valley yet discover. Lunch will be served at Haa hotel. After lunch, we will make a short hike, which starts above the hotel and ends at Khatsho village. Then we will visit Lhakhang Karpo and Lhakhang nagpo, white and black temple respectively. In the evening stroll around small Haa town. Dinner and over night stay at Haa Hotel.

Day 12. Haa – Paro
Today we will drive to Paro over Chelela Pass. This is the highest pass in Bhutan, where car can take us. You will see here many prayer flags and from this pass, we can see Mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drakey so clearly and beautifully on clear days. On reaching Paro, we will have our lunch in one of the restaurant. Then we will visit National Museum of Bhutan and Paro Dzong. Evening stroll around Paro town. Dinner and over night stay at Paro Hotel.

Day 13. Paro Stay
Today we will hike to Taktshang Monastery, which is the most important pilgrimage and scared sites in the Buddhism world. The hike will take about 2hours up steep and about 1hour 30 minutes on our way back. Lunch will be served at Taktshang Cafteria. On our way back to hotel, we will visit Drukgyel Dzong, which is ruin and the Kyichu Lhakhang, which is one of the oldest temple in Bhutan. Dinner and over night stay in Paro Hotel.

Day 14. Paro – Paro Airport.
After our breakfast we will drive to Paro Internation Airport for your onward flight. We wish you a very safe journey back to your home country and at the same hope to see you again in Bhutan.

1. When and how to visit Bhutan?
Choose your traveling date like Arrival/Departure date. You also need to choose entry/depart Bhutan via AIR or LAND.
By Air: Druk Air, the national carriers is the only service operator in the kingdom and operates several flights per week from Bangkok (Thailand), Delhi & Kolkata (India) and Kathmandu (Nepal) to Paro (Bhutan). The Paro International Airport is located about an hour and a half drive from Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
Paro airport is daylight restricted, and the flights are totally dependent on the weather. As a result, sometimes flights are delayed. It is therefore a good idea to keep at least 24 hours of transit time for connecting flights out of Paro. You might also want to consider traveling on a non-restricted ticket so that if you miss a connecting flight, you can be rerouted or seated on the first available carrier.
Sometimes flights into Paro are disrupted because of unfavorable weather conditions. If this occurs, the flight will stop for the night at the transit airport. To be prepared, you may want to carry your essential personal items in your carry-on luggage.
By Land: Phuentsholing, a Bhutanese town in the southwest has road access to India. It is located about 170 km from the Indian domestic airport at Bagdogra, West Bengal. Phuentsholing is about 172 km from Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan and is about 6hours drive distance. And S/

Hot stone bath (Dhotsho) is a traditional bath of Bhutan, where a tradition of heating up stones and then soaking in the water that is in turn heated by the stones. This is also a curative method and is used throughout the country We Bhutanese belief that this bath has so much of medicinal benefits. Some diseases are curable-like joint pains, hypertension, stomach disorder, arthritis and many other minor diseases. Especially for the old age, where we have lots of body pains, joints pains helps a lot by this Hot Stone Bath (Dhotsho).

Folk Performing Arts & Music in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan

Tiger’s Nest is most visited spot in Bhutan and it is much awaited by every tourist who visits Bhutan to climb to Tiger’s Nest.
It takes about 2 hrs 30mins up steep climb through the forest of pine, oak and Rhododendron. However you can ride the horse and climb till the Taktshang cafeteria.
